Initial Meetings of the FCL4VET Project: Taking the First Steps Toward Innovation in VET
The European project FCL4VET – Advancing Vocational Education through Future Class Labs implementation – has launched strongly during its first months of implementation, consolidating its international collaboration network and laying the theoretical and methodological foundations to transform Vocational Education and Training through active methodologies and innovative technologies.
First Virtual Meeting – 10-12-2024
The consortium held its first virtual meeting in December, with all partners participating: CAKOVEC, KAYROS, CKZ, OLAVIDE, CELF, and VIMODO. During this meeting, the general objectives of the project were presented, the roles of each partner were outlined, and the pedagogical approach based on the implementation of Future Classroom Labs (FCL) and the HyFlex methodology was introduced. It was a key initial contact to align visions, get to know the teams involved, and begin planning the first activities.
Kickoff Meeting – 19-02-2025 – Poland
The first transnational face-to-face meeting took place in February 2025 at the premises of the Croatian partner CKZ. During this kickoff meeting, partners delved into project organization, reviewed the work schedule, and validated the first deliverables. Special attention was given to the coordination of Work Package 2 (HyFlex methodology and e-learning) and the development of the quality and sustainability plans. The collaborative atmosphere was key to strengthening relationships and uniting the international team.
Second Virtual Meeting – 27-03-2025
In March, a second virtual meeting was held to review the initial progress of each partner and assess the work completed so far. A central topic was the review of the theoretical framework proposed by partner Čakovec, which will support the implementation of the HyFlex methodology and the design of the Future Classroom Labs. The first drafts of the e-learning platform were also presented, and a joint plan was established for the development of accessible and inclusive digital educational content.
