FCL 4 VET
Project Nº 2024-1-PL01-KA220-VET-000250900
Advancing Vocational Education trought Future Class Labs (FCL) implementation.

Our Motivation
The motivation behind the “FCL4VET” project stems from the pressing need to revolutionize vocational education in electronics, mechanicals, and mechatronics fields. By fostering innovation, promoting digital readiness and resilience, and ensuring inclusivity for all learners, the project aims to address the selected priorities of VET, digital transformation, and inclusion and diversity. Through a comprehensive approach to technology integration, curriculum enhancement, and inclusive practices, the project contributes significantly to advancing vocational education and training in Europe.
The project’s objectives are driven by the necessity to modernize vocational education and equip students with the skills required to thrive in the digital age and beyond. By integrating HyFlex learning and AI-enabled apps, incorporating cutting-edge technologies like AI, VR, AR, and 3D printing, and enhancing practical skills and competencies relevant to the modern workforce, the project aims to create dynamic and immersive learning environments. Additionally, the project prioritizes inclusivity and accessibility for all learners, including those with autism and Asperger’s syndrome, by implementing universal design principles and providing tailored support.

Partnership

Objectives
This project proposes to exploit the pedagogical possibilities of Developing Tools to integrate Future Classroom Labs in VET schools as learning spaces, HyFlex teaching modality more flexible in combination with technologies, to improve teaching and learning processes through active methodologies. FCL will find six areas: Investigate, Explore, Interact, Develop, Create, and Present, whose purpose is to favor and stimulate the teaching and learning processes, making the student the protagonist of the whole process. Integrate AI enabled apps and Large Language Models (like CHATGPT) for personal learning.

Implementation
5 Meetings with partners, 6 job-shadowing activities (in each of participants’ sites) integrating HyFlex learning in VET, Developing FCL in schools, creating areas: EXPLORE: Discover, Search, Inquire, CREATE: Manipulate, Edit, Imagine, DEVELOP: plan, invent, design, INTERACT: collaborate, question, debate, PRESENT: show, listen, inform, share, INVESTIGATE: find out, analyze, examine, question Performing dissemination actions in 6 countries at least 6 Multiplier Events will be executed to achieve a high impact at the regional level. Developing HyFlex methodology for VET.

Results
This project will have specific results: Future Classroom Labs integrated in VET, HANDBOOK, and AI enabled apps and Large Language Models (like CHATGPT), all VET will transform spaces to FCL, Handbook with best practices to identify, design and plan pedagogical and learning activities. AI enabled apps and Large Language Models (like CHATGPT), HyFlex Methodology for VET.
