Čakovec University is a recognized educational institution for adults founded in 1955 by the city of Čakovec. As the adult education community body of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, the university is constantly developing its curriculum to meet the growing educational needs of society. 

As an adult education institution, Public Open University Čakovec has continually aligned programming with the evolving needs of adult learners and current labour market trends. Formal vocational courses are provided to expand skills and employability. Complementary non-formal workshops are offered in arts, languages, and technology to engage senior citizens and members of other vulnerable groups such as the Roma and unemployed, fostering social inclusion and preventing marginalization.

Relevant experience includes implementing the “ISKRA” project in collaboration with partner institutions. This initiative utilized art workshops to develop creativity and improve social engagement among adults 55+. As partners in the ESF “Istakni se, osvoji posao 2” project with the Croatian Employment Service, we strengthened competences and enhanced employability for unemployed participants through conversational language courses in German and English. ViModo is a research and education organization based in Cyprus, specializing in the fields of research, innovation, and social inclusion. They strive to develop and implement sustainable solutions that meet the needs of people with fewer opportunities and their families. Their goal is to offer solutions to difficult social problems, achieve sustainable development, and maximize impact on social change. The ViModo team consists of highly qualified people with extensive experience in scientific research, vocational education and training. The team also has experience in writing, coordinating and implementing various European projects, especially in the Erasmus+ KA2 programme.

ViModo aspires to be a recognized organization at the pan-European level, in the areas of inclusive education and training with a strong commitment: improving the quality of life of people with fewer opportunities (e.g. with autism spectrum and other disabilities, social and disability, cultural barriers).

In response to the social and educational challenges of people with fewer opportunities, their mission is to promote innovation and strengthen social change in a cross-sectoral perspective and an interdisciplinary approach, develop and implement scientific, educational and technological research projects aimed at improving their emotional and spiritual well-being.

Vocational Training Center in Wysokie Mazowieckie

Poland

The Vocational Training Centre in Wysokie Mazowiecki is one of the most modern complexes of educational institutions in the north-eastern part of Polish. Its governing body is the Wysokie Mazowiecki District, which provides financial resources for the functioning of the school and creates conditions for its development.

There are several educational institutions within the structure of the Vocational Training Centre:

– the Home Army Technical School in Wysokie Mazowiecki, – the Home Army Stage I Vocational School in Wysokie Mazowiecki, 

– Stage II Sectoral Vocational School in Wysokie Mazowiecki,

– II High School for Adults in Wysokie Mazowiecki,

– Vocational Training Centre – an institution providing practical education for students and learners.

The main of these institutions is the Home Army Technical School, a five-year secondary vocational school for primary school graduates. The school gives the opportunity to obtain a technician diploma after passing exams confirming vocational qualifications, as well as obtaining a secondary school leaving certificate after passing the maturity exam.

IES Pablo de Olavide

Spain

Today, I.E.S. Pablo de Olavide has become the center with the largest number of students and teachers in La Carolina (Jaén).

It is located in the south of the city, in a diverse environment made up of middle- and lower-middle-class neighborhoods and socially disadvantaged areas.

The school has more than 600 students and 67 teachers who teach at different levels of secondary school, basic vocational training, intermediate level vocational training (CFGM) and higher level training courses, in the following professional specializations: mechanical manufacturing, electricity-electronics and ICT, Maintenance and Production Services.

The courses carried out at the facility are as follows:

– CFGM telecommunications installations

– CFGM electromechanical maintenance

– CFGM treatment.

– CFGS telecommunications and computer systems

– Level 2 Professionalism Certificates (VET for Employment) in the areas of mechanical manufacturing, industrial maintenance, telecommunications and IT.

Center for Erhvervsrettede uddannelser Lolland-Falster

Denmark

The Lolland Falster Education Centre (CELF) is a regional institution offering vocational education and training (VET) at technical and commercial levels at upper secondary level, covering the islands of Moen, Lolland and Falster in the southern part of Zealand. In addition, CELF offers most of the short-term supplementary training and CPD courses as part of the Danish adult vocational training programmes.

CELF is part of the national Danish education system providing training in accordance with national legislation. All VET students follow the Danish dual system, in which the training takes place partly at CELF and partly in the form of practical internships in the relevant industry.

CELF has branches in the cities of Nykøbing Falster (headquarters), Maribo and Nakskov.

Around 2,500 students a year attend courses at CELF, which employs 250 people. CELF’s annual turnover is 40 million euros.
